Something I would like to see is consumables or even armour or something that uses those materials that have been around since prophecies but never/almost never used. Like Ink, Charcole and such. Give a use for them for once.

If you've ever played a monk or a necro you've used ink. Charcoal is needed for deldrimor steel, which is needed in several elite armours, etc. All of those crafting materials have uses.

I looked up some of the rarer materials on wiki back when nightfall started and got no listing for stuff that uses them.

I can verify the ink, playing a monk myself. It's used in many of my armors or used to be back when they were tats.

There are still 'unused' materials: Clay and mud.
They appear in artisans, but are never used and do not even drop.

I was about to mention those too. Never quite understood the point behind them. Unless, at some point of development, they inetnded to make Guild Halls require materials like clay and mud bricks, wood and granite in addition to a Sigil. Sigil used as a proof of worthiness and the materials used to actually build ones GH.
