Age Title

I would like to see the following idea implemented into Guild Wars 2, since I'm sure it's too late to put it into the original Guild Wars games, but hear me out. (Although it could still be put into the current games anyway. You never know, right?) How about a title given to veterans of the game based on the amount of time they've played? (In calender sense, not hours.)

So basically, it could start with the first rank being at six months and the next being at 1 year. The length to achieve the max title could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years, and there's really no way to grind for this title, so I think it'd be a nice little something for devoted fans of the game. By the way, this title would be account based.



Possible naming suggestions could be:

Veteran (1)
Stoic Veteran (2)
Battle Hardened Veteran (3)
War Weary Veteran (4)
Campaigner (5)

Or, for a lighter twist:

Guild Wars Regular (1)
Guild Wars Junkie (2)
Guild Wars Devout (3)
Guild Wars Fanatic (4)

I don't see the point really. You've got /age to tell yourself how long, they reward you with birthday presents... they already reward you for being around, plus all the funny little headpieces from special events and stuff.

So you want to show off that you bought the game a long time ago? I don't know.

I want an Experience Title.

Exacly. You already have a reward for being an aged person (in-game ofc). Not that much useful, either - I mean, each title is for showing off something you DID! Same as you won't get a title for afked hours or amount of monsters you smashed (killing a bunch of easy monsters outside Ascalon or farming). And yes, you can just show your oldest hat to prove that you play very long.

Now, now... we already have miniatures. For age.
For the experience title... NEVER.
But a skillpoint title would work.
Why? You can get skillpoints by questing. So the skillpoints gained farming are comparable to those gained by making missions, or capping elite skills.

Now I do like that idea

Rank (1) Rambo N00b.
Rank (2) Trashtalk N00b.
Rank (3) "Not only can I do it.. I can do it in Hard Mode" N00b.
Rank (4) Green.
Rank (5) Regular player.

I know we all get minipets and festival hats, but take this into consideration:

1. Minipets are character based. This title would be account based.

2. Not everyone has the time or desire to participate in all the festivals. I know that I usually can't make the time because I never get weekends off, so I usually miss out on many special events.
