Latest upday fair to Autralia?

In the latest update it says that payment in the ingame store is in the currency of the country of the Master PlayNC account. Does this mean that Australians can now pay in Australian dollars instead of GBPs? Has this fixed the currency inequity> I would just like to know.

* Once a Guild Wars account is linked to a PlayNC master account, it uses the currency of the country registered at the time the PlayNC master account is created. If the Guild Wars account is not linked to a PlayNC account, it will use the current IP to determine the currency type displayed.
I really don't believe that they are going to allow us to purchase any new game from NCSoft in Australian dollars, or any other currency other than American and maybe Euro. If they were to do that, they would have quite ALOT of currencies to cater for. I could be wrong on this, but I highly doubt that every countries currencies are going to be in use in the in-game store and through PlayNC.
That being said, I was of the understanding that in Australia, we received our game codes from the European Distributors (if you buy them in a game store).
The only way that I can see us trying to pay in American Dollars, under the current system, would be to say that you live in the USA when you first purchase your game (If your purchasing it from PlayNC) and when you add your serial codes to your master account (for the first time) I think you will have the option to pay in American Dollars. I'm not entirely sure about this, as it's just my guess.
The IP thing makes me think that it's going to see that it is an Australian IP and automatically go....AHHHH Huuhh another one for the European section, as the EU support looks after Australia and thus payment will be made in Pounds Sterling.
It's completely unfair especially when the PlayNC store gives you options to buy other NCSoft games in American Dollars or Pounds Sterling.
1.00 GBP = 2.45617 AUD
1.00 USD = 1.22010 AUD
I hate Pounds Sterling. Stupid.

Hell, it's either wait for Monday and pay $49.95 or play now and pay approx. $61. About $12 for two days of play which you won't get with the boxed version. I ain't buying it online for sure.

Im buying one online and ill keep one of the two I brought for my wife. The only thing the box will remind me when 70yr or 30yr for that matter, is the 5000hrs wasted for a god dam minipet every year.

I'm assuming that stores in the UK ask for the same amount at the ingame store, similarly that the US stores list the price as roughly the same as the price in US dollars in the ingame store.
For this reason alone Anet should be charging Australians in US dollars as it is more representative of the price we pay in Australia for the product.

Rats, I bought it before the update...

The store still sells in Pounds for me.

Don't forget the many people who do not have an EB within 500 kilometres of them and are only able to buy via the online store. Wooo...

Question:
If I buy the game through the ingame store now, will I be able to add it to my account and start downloading after the game is launched?
[live in Australia] go toowoomba....

I live in Australia, but I'd have to check, since I've only briefly looked through the store, but I'm sure it was charging me in USD - I did notice that when I first bought prophecies (only a day or two after release) I was auto-assigned to the US servers. Every one of my friends since then who have entered Australia as their location started on the European servers.

Hmmm...
I smell an opportunity to get some more vegemite on trade for GW products.
...the last batch that I made a barter for is "expired"...but does it really ever actually expire? lol
Second batch of drunk Thursday vegemite toast on the way!

Vegemite is resembles the undead, it has no soul and never dies. (and you can't kill it?)
Also tastes really bad (have you tasted a zombie?)
We'll send Arena net a couple jars and say its Australian chocolate.
