I'm presently lacking any sort of decent build to make General Morgahn into a useful paragon... Considering he can't use the PvE skills that suddenly have made Paragons into seriously useful defensive boosters lately, I question whether he will really make enough of a difference in the Sepulchure of Dragimmar to be worth bringing at this stage...
... But regardless... I request assistance with a worthwhile build for Morgahn to use to make it possible for my herohench party to beat that place.
[Edit: I just tried throwing together a build based roughly on suggestions across this board.... and it failed miserably.]
Build for General Morgahn?

motivation 15 (12+2+1)
leadership 10 (9+1)
inspiration 10
finale of restoration
finale of purification
song of restoration
ballad of restoration
lyric of zeal
mantra of inscriptions
signet of synergy
signet of return
I used this as the ONLY healer in the 4-man hard mode areas, paired with another paragon (me) who was usually defensively oriented (TNTF, etc.) though not always. The Finales get stronger as more shouts are spammed, so pair this guy with another paragon or a warrior with party-affecting shouts and chants. Go For The Eyes and Watch Yourself are ideal because they recharge very quickly, especially with adrenaline boosters or IAS skills. Note that because of Mantra of Inscriptions, our signets recharge almost twice as fast, so things like Hex Eater Signet, Cautery Signet, Leech Signet, Signet of Aggression, etc. become very powerful, so you can substitute these skills in as required. Lyric of Zeal gives Morgahn 6 energy when he uses it, triggers the finales, and gives him another 8 energy when he uses Signet of Synergy to heal someone... so this heals morgahn and the target for 100 points each, *and* gives him 14 energy, *and* heals and/or removes conditions from whoever has a Finale on them. In addition it will give 8 energy to anyone on your team when they use a signet, so helps if they equip one. This healer has 106AL and infinite energy... you can stick with monks if you want, but I use Morgahn.

i might try that build out
Racthoh
Used this for all of GW:EN.
Aggressive Refrain
Spear of Redemption
Spear of Lightning
Defensive Anthem {E}
Go For The Eyes!
Never Give Up!
Hexbreaker Aria
Signet of Return
Spear Mastery: 10 + 2
Leadership: 12 + 1 + 1
Command: 8 + 1
Nothing special, but it worked for me.

The healer build sounds good.... but I was hoping for something more along the lines of the defensive builds that player paragons seem fond of.
Unfortunately, that seems fairly unlikely to work well considering Heroes can't use PvE-only skills like TNTF.

Just wanted to drop in and say that the healer build you suggested for Morgahn works fine and it has me using him. Thanks!

I will be setting up Hayda like that now and I hope I'll be as pleased as you are^^ always liked having a para around. Now I might actually have one around with a useful build

re: effectiveness of the healer build, i'm glad to hear it, that build has worked very well for me. Morgahn is much more resistant to spiking than monks are... I mean, 106AL vs. 60/70AL = GG. The energy management is incredible too... no need for crutches like BR/BiP necromancers to keep your healers operating.
I have almost always been running spear/command/leadership on my paragon so I used motivation on the hero paragon... but if I were setting up a defensively oriented paragon hero I think I would be inclined to use lots of echos that are annoying for humans to micromanage but heroes would do very well with. Things like Blazing Finale, Burning Refrain, Bladeturn Refrain, Hasty Refrain. Couple that with standard defensive measures like Defensive Anthem, Stand Your Ground, Watch Yourself, Shields Up... all those shouts will trigger the echoes. It's usually best to let the hero use their defensive anthem or SYG first, and use yours when theirs is about to wear off. The heroes have an annoying habit of using their defensive shouts when yours are already active. Also, Go For The Eyes, Anthem of Flame, Anthem of Weariness, Anthem of Disruption all end quickly and thus are ideal for renewing echos, whether those are for defense, attack, healing, condition removal, etc. I have not gotten Hayda yet but I'm thinking that 3+ paragons in the same group would be godly. Also this kind of party configuration lets you use some skills that you might not have considered before, e.g. Chorus of Restoration, Energizing Chorus, etc.
