Faction/Reputation for all end game content

The great thing about EotN is that almost everything you do in the game earns you reputation. Whether dungeons, questing, missions, or just clearing out an area are your interest, you can improve your standing by doing your thing. This is why, in some ways, the "omg grind" complaints fall flat.

However, there is plenty of other end game content (Sorrows, Tombs, Underworld, Urgoz, the Deep, Challenge missions in Cantha and Elona) that does not allow you to boost the various faction/reputations (lb, ss, Kurzick, Norn, etc.).

I propose that all end-game should give the player a way to build your standing somewhere. This way a player will never feel he's wasting an opportunity and can always play as he or she chooses.

Here are some thoughts on how this might work:

Urgoz - gives Kurzick faction
The Deep - gives Luxon faction
Cantha Challenge missions - allows player to choose between Kurzick & Luxon
Elona Challenge missions - SS or LB depending on location
Sorrows - Deldrimor track
Tombs - allows players to dedicate to EotN organization of his choosing
Underworld - Since this crosses all games, player has option to dedicate to any group in game.

This could be applied to vanquishing and beating missions in Hard Mode in existing campaigns, too.

The point is, let the player do what he or she enjoys and gain reputation along the way.

EotN gives reputation in all of its farmable areas. I don't think that should be a disqualifier.

I would agree with this. Then I might even bother to go to those areas. As it is, I see little or no point in bothering with them. They accomplish nothng for my characters.
