Error 42 and 173 while using store.

I've attempted to purchase the game from the store about 20 times now. However every time i either get Error, 42, 173 or a message saying the server timed out.

Is anyone else having these errors or similar? Or know if its simply because the store is busy or not.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Having the same problem. Err's and says try again later.
Probaly because of massive amount of poeple trying to buy it at the sametime.

Same problems here. Beats my why Anet (or NCSoft for that matter) did not enable us to buy the access code a few days in advance. I've been trying to enter the ingame store for over an hour now, this is getting really annoying.

I got the same errors, then I logged into my character, turns out I have access to Gw:en. Don't know why, don't know how many times I'm going to get charged, don't know whats going on, but I was sure annoyed.

Thats what i assumed but it has been out for hours and i would have thought it would have died down.

Ah well its nice to know its not me, I'll try again in an hour or so.

When i enter the store i just get a black screen and nothing loads so i have to exit the game! Tried to enter the store so many times now and just keep getting a black screen europe here.

That happened to be as well however after a few tries i managed to get in. (Europe here also).

I just found out I've got it, but i hit purchase several times. Do you think it will have charged me for them, or because you can only buy one have charged me the first successful time only?

I got a message saying "could not establish contact with billing server" So tryed to resubmit a few times. And nothing happens. So I decided to wait for a bit and try again. So I go and play bioshock for a few hours, and when I come back and log on I find that I have GW:EN and that Anet has billed me for each resubmit I did! I resubmittet four times according to my credit card log! Im so pissed at Anet now. They better have a good reply to the mail that I sent them... They should allso have a feature in the online store that prevents resubmission of the same input in a short period of time...

Sorry for the rant...

I live in Australia and I have no problems connecting.

Happened to me aswell, but i feel alot less silly now reading your post so thanks. I emailed plaync earlier on today but i doubt i'll get a reply until early next week now. Also contacted my bank and they said it should be sorted by tommorrow, but we'll see.

i got 1751000 and ask me to check internet connection while i already open 6112 and 80 ports...
Game play are fine but i can't buy anything... as soon as i click checkout , that error code popup..
