Hero's Handbook question?

I know its a bit early to start asking questions like this, but does anybody know if this item needs to be in your inventory while you are doing the primary quest for it to be updated? It would be more convenient to just keep it in storage, but thats only if it will still update even if you arent actually holding it when u complete the quest.

Well we couldn't get them during the preview weekend, but all of the quests I did then are in the book, so I would assume that it doesn't need to be in your inventory. I am not sure, just guessing based on what happened with the sneak peek quests.

really? i did the 3 norn quests over the weekend and none of them were in my book

It seems to be a bit more general in what it will accept IN the book....
I did the Norn branch of the main quest during the preview weekend and only got the Hero Book after.... yet it has accounted for that part of the main quest IN the book.

The Master Dungeon guide on the other hand.... that needs to be there...
