Something I have been wondering about...would it be good if you could continue a mission by flagging your h/h even after the human chars in the party are dead and all rez have been used up?
that way if you balls up and forget to bring re-usable rez on your heroes and you die you could flag your party around the map still and try to complete the mission just that way...this could reduce frustration if you get to the end of a long(ish) mission and the only human char dies...as of the moment you would be sent packing right back to the start...
thoughts?

No monks on your team? The only time I've seen where I've stayed dead is when the monks are dead. It's part of the game. The end of the mission is supposed to be tough. If you are dying before that, you really need to check your builds or team make-up, and I seriously doubt that without you or your monks, the rest of the AI Express is going to finish the quest/mission.

good idea but from my experience all my heroes and henches are getting wiped almost immediately after minute of fighting.

I felt like I wanted to tell you why. When you(or anyone) are vanquishing an area it is intentional to bring a non-essential hero,like a nuker or mm, that doesn't have a res on the bar. Before this hero hits 60% dp you can flag it on a res shrine and you can finish the area, all tho this may seem futile if the party get whipped again and again at least I don't get "party was defeated,you leader may return you to outpost" just 10 mops left in a zone. This tactic has helped me in more than 1 instance.
