I'm curious, are there any GWEN opening day exclusive items? Like back in Factions opening day when they had Day of the Tengu one day event and you can get a opening day exclusive mask?

Nope, they just enabled the Norn part of the game (and limited us to it).
All the items / drops, etc are the same as in the full live version of Eotn.
