Another thread arose complaining about how they nerfed it. One person posted an idea I liked

I don't care so much about the increased energy cost, or the reduced duration but the damage did bother me a bit.
Scaled damage from 1-3 damage per beast mastery skill, with +3 damage per skill occurring at 14 beast mastery. So with 6 or 7 beast mastery skills at 14 beast mastery you can add 18 or 21 damage (around the same as before). All the while limiting other non beastmasters.
Beastmasters would have their cake, and be the only ones who can eat all of it.
