You know what I am rly upset about? The fact that ANET made some nice collector items, and damn ugly armors (nearly all reskins, just the dervish armors seems to be new...). So, I wa thinking...why the hell you let people have a pair of destroyer gloves when they DO NOT fit with ANY armor set? This is the matter. Head Pieces are ok, because you can just have them and they can fit with lots of armor sets, but gloves...the only way I see gloves fitting on a character is using them on a dervish (I don't even have a Dervish...I will make one soon though xD). So well...that's all.

E-baying gold is no longer much of an option since you have to gain the rank to buy the armor anyway. I can only guess that e-bayers buy gold because they're too lazy/stupid to go out farming. At least with armour it's customised to that character so no-one else can buy it for you, therefore you have to gain the rank to get it.

Will it limit the e-baying? Well, I hope so.

Right, gotta go make another 15k Norn points for the armor on my ele.

and BTW, whoever said you can't even get to the first tier by doing quests is so unbelievably wrong. My warrior finished GW:EN main story last night, has done about half the side quests and has reached rank 4, 3/4 to rank 5 in Norn without going out with the express purpose of point farming.

The problem is it's not even a gold sink. If would be if you could buy some of these things to turn in from merchants or other NPCs--as it is you're just going to end up buying them from other players, which isn't a gold sink at all, it just redistributes the wealth.
