When I look at MMORPG players I class them in 2-ways.
1)Those with lives
2)Those without lives
the previous games were nicely balanced between the two. We had Prestige armour for those without lives and 1k armour for those with. To get something grinding wasn't really necessary and you could play the game to have fun.
Now we have GW:EN. All of the armour is 10k a piece. 75 ectos for chaos gloves!! i.e Rip off I would like a pair of chaos gloves but it is just a waste of money. Its like when you go to the shops do you buy the £5 2litre bottle of milk
or the £2.50 1.5 litre bottle of milk which is on BOGOF.
This game has become a hardcore grindfest, and while I may be content slaughtering charr at polymock atm i do want some of these nice new collectables and common armour sets. Can't GW make them easier for the casual gamer to get. I understand why people use bots now as i look at the prices for all of this so called "coimmon armour".
This game is out of proportion...

Dude it’s an “EXPANSION” for “PROPHECIES” that means if you want the cheap armor buy it from Drokes!! Come on common sense!!
For the rest of you who complaints about the armor “DON’T”. ANET is not telling you all to buy the armors. You should be thankful that they even have a new set of armor and 40 of them. The design on armor is not important to them, just look at the GWEN design it’s RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOING BEAUTIFUL.
For rare materials: Ecto’s & Shards are now easy to farm everyone can access UW anytime they want with favor in the ENTIRE world. (I don’t think it’s ever going to end). So zipped it and just enjoy the game.

You pay 40 dollars for your expansion, hyped up to get some new armor, and BAM! You realize you will NEVER set your hands on it. Well to the casual player, the current grind-title+cost=RIDICULOUS, just as that is ridiculous to you.

Why you whine? The title needed to the armors is ridiculously easy. Doesn't need any kind of hard core grinding like FoW's do. And why you talk bullshit about chaos gloves? They are made to look cool, and cost much, but hey, whiners need to whine from everything. Soon you gonna say that FoW set is too expensive? And yes, for last thing, this is a expansion for 20 lvl characters, you get tons of money from doing dungeons (30-60 minutes each, depends how nub you are) and other areas and titles by the same. I got only like 16k asura points just doing asura side primary quests + dungeons, not much needed to "grind" anymore.

They are indirectly stating that this game is basically a short campaign, with a grind endgame that gives in-game rewards designed to extend the products "longevity". Fact? Yeah.
The primary complaint of the OP and Series is to highlight the expensive nature of the endgame rewards, and that they will probably never have the time to grind to get them. I'd agree with that statement and label it fact.

Warrior Monument being the outstanding piece of shite.
It's just a jumble of old armor pieces put together with no unified aethetic.
Looks terrible.

Good point. How many of you got Vabbian or any 15k (lets say, Kurzick one) in first 3 days? It's not that hard to get points - Yesterday I had under 1k Vanguard faction, now I have almost 8k.
