When I look at MMORPG players I class them in 2-ways.
1)Those with lives
2)Those without lives
the previous games were nicely balanced between the two. We had Prestige armour for those without lives and 1k armour for those with. To get something grinding wasn't really necessary and you could play the game to have fun.
Now we have GW:EN. All of the armour is 10k a piece. 75 ectos for chaos gloves!! i.e Rip off I would like a pair of chaos gloves but it is just a waste of money. Its like when you go to the shops do you buy the £5 2litre bottle of milk
or the £2.50 1.5 litre bottle of milk which is on BOGOF.
This game has become a hardcore grindfest, and while I may be content slaughtering charr at polymock atm i do want some of these nice new collectables and common armour sets. Can't GW make them easier for the casual gamer to get. I understand why people use bots now as i look at the prices for all of this so called "coimmon armour".
This game is out of proportion...

I think you are confused....people with GW:EN already have a previous campaign, therefore they have access to 1k armor.

yes i know that but it is unfair that we aren't allowed any of the new armour unless we play all 1337 h4773rz (soz i'm shit at 1337 speak) skillz and hardcore the game for 72 hours straight. The game should be balanced for people who have lives and not just for stupid fat man who sit on their computer 24/7 and geeky little kids with nothing better to do

In the space of a weekend, people have already gotten rank 8 in the Dwarf/Norn/Asura title tracks to get armour. It takes longer than that to grind out the Sunspear and Lightbringer title tracks in Nightfall. Sure you just aren't overreacting?
Omniclasm
Besides, you aren't missing out on much armor-wise, just some crap reskins from other chapters.

Best fun I've had in a while, and I do sit too much but I'm not fat, not stupid and not a geeky little kid. I do agree with the other part though - I too wouldn't pay for that! 75 ectos for some pair of gauntlets? Hardy har ha!

You have a life. You don't DESERVE the [crappy] GWEN armor. Get off guru, you whiny CASUAL player. D<

Relax everyone, he is either just craving attention or he's one of those people that doesn't like the "challanging" part of games... or both...

Gwen is an expansion pack, which means extra content. Even casual gamers are able to attain most of the armors and things just by playing. Sure, it'll take you a while to get it, but that's why it's extra content - it's meant to keep you occupied for a longer time. By the time you attain the title (and let me point it out, you'll get it the same way as any "no-lifer", by grinding and spending time on your achievement) you'll have more than enough money to pay for the armor.
If everyone could just rush through Gwen and get the items they want instantly, then there'd be no point in having it as an expansion pack. Frankly, I think those people rushing through the game are gonna get bored of it faster.
I'm a casual gamer myself, and I'm simply enjoying the fact that I can expect many more hours of new gameplay and working towards new goals (namely, the Norn armor ). Sure, lots of my guildies already have armor from Gwen and all the cool items, but I'm in no hurry. The game will stay fresh longer for me, while they will already start losing interest in it.
I hate people who expect to have all the cool new things without actually bothering to work for it. It's a GAME. It's meant to be PLAYED, and if you took away all the sense of achievement and hard work, a LOT of people would stop playing it.

I'm also not into the grinding as much. I'm kinda glad that a lot of these items aren't that ease to obtain, otherwise you could get them by playing EOtN for a weekend, get your pretty armors, come to Guru forums, and ask Anet for new content because you've obtained everything already

This doesn't seem like too complicated a process to me. If you want something, you have to work towards it. If you don't like this, then get outta here ya freeloader!

Says the guy who bought GW:EN with his mom's money...
