Ok... I appreciate anyone's advice or thoughts on my dilema..
I bought GW:Proph about 3-4 days ago... level'd up a monk/e to about 10 or so and I grouped with a Paragon... intrigued me so much I went back to the store and bought Nightfall... now... this seems like the real deal... heroes, awesome intro to the first few lvls etc.
But right before I went and bought Nightfall I had a buddy go out and get proph, we generally have the same mmo taste.
My question is, is it worth doing proph? or should I just say screw it and do NF? What are the pro's and con's ? or can I do both? I'm a total noob here as you can see... I'd like to do proph with my friend but now it seems like what I've heard about NF is thats where its at. Someone told me basically I just need to do NF get to 20 so I can start with GW:EN but blah
IM FKIN CONFUSED ABOUT ALL THIS@! lol pls help me bah

well you can always take your nightfall charactors to prophecies or you can do the prophecies storyline. or do both. if you got a friend who only has prophecies i'd probably stay right there and both of you learn the game together and when hes not there you can dabble on a nightfall charactor maybe by the time you and him get to lions arch you can group with him with your nightfal charactor to shows him your hereos and maybe get him interested in nightfall.
prophecies does has the slowest learning curve so it is best to start there til you get comfortable with the game

There's a quest which links your proph to your nightfall(quest obtained in Lion's Arch). So you can just play both 
As to which first..Prophecies is good because you can get a lot of skills from just doing quests. Also prophecies has a very, very, large 'noob' area. you can play through dozens of missions before you finally encounter lvl 20+ mobs. Which isnt really the case in nightfall. I would say progress some more in prophcies, learn some more about the game's tactics and such, and gain more(and better) skills
