[Guild Wars 2]

Hey guys, I was just wondering something.

When Guild Wars 2 comes out, will it render all the other guild wars+expansion, useless?

Since it's not an expansion, wouldn't you have to restart everything and throw away all your other games?

I was just wondering, maybe Guild Wars 2 is just another expansion aswell though.

It won't render your old GW useless, you can still play it...

But there won't be many links between GW 1 and 2, I think your character names will be reserved, and some other stuff too like titles etc.

edit: The hall of monuments seems to take care of stuff like that.

GW2 wont replace GW. It will be another game. You can stay playing GW if you like, you can play both if you want or you can just move on to GW2.

Oh I see, but the worlds of GW and GW2 still wont be linked.

So it is definite that they will keep GW running after GW2 come out? Good I've been looking for that bit of info, thank you all.
I'm not sure I'm looking forward to GW2 but I'd really miss my Chars if a short while after GW2 goes online they just drop it.....

Just hope they dont change there minds *knocks on wood*
