Sometimes I take a Signet of Capture with me and tried my luck on about 10 bosses for any elite skills of which also there were none (warior) or anything else for that matter, (maybe I didn't read that part where there won't be any elites from bosses). Please remember I'm not finished yet, maybe next 10 bosses.
Nice one, dude. There are no new elite skills in the expansion!
You have no idea what you're talking about. GW:EN is awesome so far. It was hard to get into but now I'm into it for a few hours and it's good stuff. I've completed the Vanquard stuff and now doing some Norn/Asura stuff.
I gotta say the music is really good, especially the battle music. It gives me a sense of adventure, which is fabulous!
So far, the storylines, the cutscenes... they completely blow away Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall. It's really, really good. It's definately improved a lot.
So far I'm enjoying it a lot. If this keeps up, it's getting a 9 from me. The biggest plus about this expansion is good storyline and great sense of adventure.
Also, I love those books that keep up what you've done so far and you can read them and they have images in them as well. So awesome.

Oh yes! I love the cutscenes. Especially the one with Pyre and the shaman lacky. Totally awesome!
The terrain is wonderful too, and I'm loving the dungeons.
I did think there'd be green armor (with less armor values but other mods instead) and more boss events in the dungeons. I've only done 6 however (1/3 through ) and the sceneary is great. My favourite dungeon so far is Catacombs of Kathendrax, that was awesome.

Yeah, I got 10+ Chars. I'm not grinding 4 long agonizing titles on EACH of them, Just to get armors, and see other things on them.
.......................... Seriously, the whole idea of having to have a title in order to see armor is ridiculous. Atleast if it was rank 3 (something you can get with average play) then it wouldn't be AS bad, but still dumb, none the less. Rank 5: I have to go far out of my way and spend hours and hours killing stupid monsters mindlessly just to go buy armor... wtf is the point, honestly.
But whatever, maybe anet will release a new build that lowers the requirement for it.

i'll admit i was a little disappointed with what i tasted over the preview weekend but i bought gw:en anyway and i'm actually pretty impressed. i love the traps and hidden passages in the dungeons and i love that they are filling in the blanks on the existing world maps, and with really beautiful little touches that make things look fresh despite being part of the 'old areas'. the game play is still pretty much the same; the pvp-legal skills don't seem to be very game-breaking or imba or anything (i suppose thats the balance you get when you let the community critique everything beforehand, gg).
if i were to rate it right now i'd give it a 7. i'm a little disapointed in the level of some of these enemies. i mean this is strictly lvl 20 content so why do i see ANY lvl 10s or 11s? and no hard mode? that's just a glaring omission, imo.
as far as drops, i've actually gotten 3 or 4 gold drops already and i've prolly played a total of maybe 10-15 hours (including the preview weekend).
so yea, i'm impressed with some of the new stuff, like the AI tactics they've mapped in on some foes, but there are other things i'm not so impressed with. all in all, i'd say the pros outweigh the cons, so yea... 7 so far.

What's the rush? I guess i should give you and Molock a cookie!! and 3rd paragraph down and very last message clearly states that I haven't finished yet, a clear definition that I've not beaten GW:EN! rolleyes I enjoy the game and savor the fine adventure, absorb the breathtaking landscape like a fine breath of fresh air on a misty Sunday morning walk
You didn't disagree with my synapses so I'll take it that you two were also disappointed, afterall you probably missed half of everything

From the sounds of things, they really do need to adjust the drops, both from mobs and chests. While I'll likely NEVER use a lockpick to open a chest (treasure hunter isn't my thing), I think they should make it at least a little bit more worthwhile for the people that do spend the insane amounts of money on those things.
Mostly I play the game just for the sake of playing it and don't pay attention to how many golds or whatever I get along the way. The only exception to that is when I'm using my one and only farming character and then I tend to only worry about the number of gold drops because they are worth more at the merchant than anything but lockpicks (I LOVE getting lp drops )
But for the folks that do truly worry about that sort of thing while playing I really do hope they fix it soon for you.
So far I'm loving GW:EN... except for that damned rabbit ... At least a 9/10 from me.

hey arena net, the fact you put a lot of foes whit uber hard damage AoE skill all aroun, dont mean game will be more long and have mor containt..is just a lame excuse to make the game hard.
Faction point for armor?? just great!! i tough Gw is a "dont need to grind for thousand of hours game for something". i have a life and whit them 10 chars. And I dont wanna Grind to get a stupid armor whit out mention i GONNA SPEND MY MONEY IN IT.
Story, short, lame, and need some creativity: Great Destroyer fromt start to the end. Cmon disney is no more, we need something more mature. You make Gw one 70's make over.
End of game weapon: what the hell was all about the weapon contest thing?? a lot of reskin everywhere....I think someone need a little more of idea. Im still finding weapon crafter whit same lame ascalon skin. "pathetic"
overrall: 5/10 (fell like been rip off)
