This is almost kind of laughable, but I just noticed this while comparing armor sets on guildwiki.net, on the elemental page.
Norn armor = elite stoneforge.
Asuran armor = elite iceforged.
Dwarven armor = elite stormforged.
Ebon vanguard = elite flameforged.
Yes they have changed colours and patterns, but they have so blatenly just re-designed existing armor. The resemblance is un-mistakeable.
Do the same comparison for other armor sets on guildwiki, and you will notice the same trend! Now if that isnt a kick in the teeth, I dunno what is! There are a few exceptions like the eagel warrior armor, but most sets are simply re-designed elite prophercies armor.
I know its the same continent and trends maybe have to follow, but we already have elite versions of these armor, so why redo them?
A trend in the GWEN armor, showing its almost same as Prophercies Elite armor!

how have you seen all 4 elementalist armors?
Servant of Kali
Armor sucks, from what I saw. Don't expect any reskins though.

Azuran ele? Sure.
Norn? Male resembles elite stoneforge, but not quite. Female looks nothing like it.
Dwarven? The chest, definately. Everything else? Not at all.
Vanguard? Now, I haven't seen the male version, so I can't say for sure, but judging from the female pics, not even close. The chest looks more like Krytan, the only thing the legs have in common with elite flameforged is that it has a mini-skirt with a robe around the back and sides, and even then, the robe part doesn't look the same at all. Plus it's missing the lace. The gloves, sure. The boots? As far as I can tell, those look way smaller than any other female ele boots, ignoring Elonian sandal-type footwear.

Compare the armors on guildwiki and tell me they aren't 90% identical...
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Elementalist_armor
as for the ele vanguard armor which isnt shown on wiki check....

...the photos on photobucket are correct, because the other ele armors are as they should be. The only one that is more different is the stoneforged, but the rest are uncannily the same as elite prophercies!
Even if you disagree, ive been an ele for 2 years and seen all armors and owned most, and IMO they are all very, very similar! To similar to be called "a new armor set".

Some other thread every other post was you going "yeah i agree reskins suck ELEMETNAL ARMOR"

Some other thread every other post was you going "yeah i agree reskins suck ELEMETNAL ARMOR" I am aware that I /signed the thread about re-skinning the armor. Hence me mentioning that some people were suggesting that idea!
Hence why i made this thread because adding elite armor would be alot easier then re-skinning 10 armor sets.

Ya, about the male vanguard...only resemblance I see on the chest is that it, like flameforged, has round bits sticking out of the shoulders. Gloves look NOTHING like flameforged. Legs, maybe. But flameforged pants are simple pants with a fire symbol on it, so similarities are moot there. Anyways, those boots look more like stoneforged than flameforged, and look more like stone than norn boots do.
As someone whose main character is a male ele that, thus far, only wears flameforged, it is my not-so-professional opinion that vanguard looks nothing like it. Also, if my previous post was not enough, I suppose I could go into a more detailed analysis.
Norn vs Stoneforged:
Notable features: Norn has round-ish fur, while stoneforged has rough stone jutting out every which way.
Shoulders: stoneforged has thick-looking shoulder pads, norn has none
Robe: stoneforged has front opening that angles into the side points, then turns into curves leading to the back point. Norn has front opening going straight down to roughly 90 degree angles, then going straight across to other side.
Gloves/boots: stoneforged ends at a sharp angle, while norn has a thin round bump (upper forearm/upper part of lower leg)
Everything not noted here: pretty much same across all ele armor.
Now I could go on about the dwarven, but I don't really feel like it. But apply the same type of analysis and you will see how it doesn't look like storm ('cept, of course, the chest). Although, I did notice something while doing ^that^. All the EotN ele armor DOES appear to be of the same STYLE as Prophecies armor. Not quite the exotic-ish style of NF and defininatly not the almost business attire of Factions (part of that only applies to male armor though ). Although, if I had to equate each EotN ele armor sets with each Proph elite ele sets, I'd say you're right on the money.
