Ectos?

I was just wondering what ectos are? People say I bought so and so for 100k +30ectos or something.. just wanted to know what they meant.

Ectos are a rare crafting material. People use them to trade since there is a cap on how much gold a character can have on them.

Ectoplasm

They are items that drop in UW and FoW... not sure where else, I haven't played in a while.

You use them to make the Fissure of Woe armor set.

People use them when they want to sell something for more than the trade limit on platinum.

UW and pve Tombs only. Since players can only hold 100k at a time, ectos are used in place of everything over 100k. Most people accept them at 500-1K under the trader price.

They also drop in Bloodstone Fen from the Ravagers but it's very very very very very unlikely so not worth the effort farming.

Ectos are a standard for items over 100k since max for trade is ____100k

people use subistutes for currency

example........i want 240k for an item.....

for this problem ecto = 8 k each

100k ...30 ecto (30 *8=240)

Except for that Ecto's (Globs of Ectoplasm) are currently traded at 4-5k rather than 8k.

glob of ecto plasms are a rare material used to get FOW armor and trade them for 100k+ ectos for stronger weapons
