Sounds weird, but I think it might be fun to use PVE skills in a PVP sort of arena, but set one specificly up for it so that only those that wanted to go against it could.

Which goes totally against the point of pve skills?

PvE skills are imbalanced, they are meant to be. Put that into a competative environment and it will never work.
