This has every characteristic of an aspect that was overlooked in development. Maybe you should contact ArenaNet and they might fix your item in a future game update.

I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but I hope someone does.

How exactly do you add weapons to your HOM weapons area? I hung the tapestry, had weapons on me, and never got asked to add one. I'm really confused.

Also, is it only for weapons in GW:EN, or could I add Chaos axes, etc. from earlier chapters?

From what I read in this thread only Destroyer Weapons go on the Weapons Monument. You get those from GW:EN, and they're Salvageable golds, not green.

Which muppet(s) on the GW dev team decided that only destroyer weapons can be shown on that shrine?

This went down like a big kick up the rear for everyone who worked hard for greens and perfect golds in Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall..

Can I have my tapestry back and an option to turn that shrine into rubble for my HoM?

Everyone should boycott destroyer weapons in protest.
