quick noob question

today is my first day back playing the game in over a year... i was wondering if there is any way of resetting your skills or do you have to remake the character. my W/Mo is kinda terrible and i would like to rearrange his skills.

You can change your skills as many times as you like, however only while in a town.

Click on the menu button at the bottom left and then select the "skills/attributes" tab. You will then see the skills that you have unlocked. Simply drag the skills you want on to the skills bar and replace the skills you do not like.

Remember, this can only be done while in a town. Once you hit the fighting areas, they lock your skills until the next time you go to a town.

Yes, you can reset all your skills and attributes - even change your secondary profession if you are far enough along in the game. I would HIGHLY recommend not deleting/restarting, because all that time "wasted" still counts towards your birthdays, which lead to mini pets.

*personal story ahead*
I first started playing Guild Wars waaaaay back when... like about 27 months ago. I had this elementalist and it was great.. but I eventually just stopped playing. A bunch of months later I decided to pick the game up again, and started to fool around with my ele. I absolutely hated the character (not sure why) - so I deleted her and remade the same character about 2 minutes later. That was before I knew about the whole birthday = pet deal.. so I was pretty mad, because I was almost at my second year.
