What happened to Evennia?

So I just finished bringing a character through GW:EN, and noticed that there was no mention of Evennia anywhere. I didn't do every single quest or talk to every single NPC, so is there any mention of her or what happened to her and who this Bartolos guy is? Any clues in GW:EN at all?

I agree, i also want to know why Prophecies characters don't inform Gwen that they met when she was a child, its as if they've forgotten a huge piece of their past. Most people would at least mention they had met someone before many years ago.

Was about to tell you that she ran off with a pack of Mursaat and never made it back home but that was the other les, Saidra iirc.
Evennia must be the heal area spamming npc in one of the shiverpeak missions. I'm sure she's with what's left of the shining blade doing whatever the shining blade does and might even pop up in the bonus pack mission that deals with Kryta. But let's be honest, Saidra was the hotter of the two...

Well, Characters from Cantha or Elona won't have met her,but yes. A line of dialogue that said 'don't you remember, I met you in Old Ascalon, 9 years ago'

She does talk about knowing you.... hold her broken flute etc and talk to her in HoM.

Yeah, I thought it was really cool to put 2-3 quests for prophecies only characters that actually CARED about Gwen. The rewards aren't bad either, Gwen is using them on as my hero right now.
And about Evennia, I was also kinda pissed, when I read the manuscript of GW:EN and it named another person as the leader of the Shining Blade, which is kinda sad, showing that Anet story writers don't really pay attention much to the game.
Also, where the hell did Asura come from anyways? I mean in the 3 campaigns there was no mention of Asuras anywhere, and the story writers of Anet left a perfectly good story dealing with the Mursaat and the Seer, and made a Gnome-like race and called it Asura. Still I love the Asura now, especially the way VEKK talks!!!.

The Asura were living in the Depths previously, until the Destroyers drove them to the surface. So it's no wonder there was no mention of Asuras - most humans had never seen any before.
As for Evennia... I saw one of Livia's idle quotes refer to her, but only in vague terms (something like "I'm not as nice as Evennia", so I guess Livia knows her). Forget the Mursaat rally, we need an Evennia rally!

Yeah i caught the Livias quote about not being like Evennia. It still doesnt explain alot to do with her. I think Anet put in the quests to do with the Mursaat and forgot about Evennia entirely

in a asuran quest, the npc wants to scatter evennia's ashes in the Sparkfly swamp, she seems were killed holding off the mursaat for us while we escaped to go get infused.

My guess is simply that Evennia is elsewhere, and that Bartholos is simply the leader of the group of Shining Blade that you interact with in GWEN.
