GvG for PvE characters only - Fight for the Eye

Since GW:EN appears to be geared more toward PvE, why not have a form of GvG (8v8) combat that ONLY uses PvE characters (no PvP only toons or equipment)?

This combat would only use one map - with the Eye of the North as the flag stand. Teams would enter/respawn at camps on opposite sides of the map.

All teams would enter combat from the Hall of Monuments.

Random/Non-Guild teams could enter from the leading player's HoM. The teams could be built/gathered in the main EotN hall.

Guilds could buy a "Battle for the Eye" rep for their guildhall to make transport to the EotN HoM easier (the team would use the team leader's HoM). Or they could meet like everyone else above. The rep would confirm that no PvP toons were in the party.

Throw a ladder or a points title in there and you got yourself a new mini-game. With no PvP toons involved, builds might be more... interesting.

lol whats the point of this? You should know that many PvPers also play PvE to get cool items and stuff. So if your intention to make "GvG for dummies" by restricting PvP only characters, its not gonna work.

Oh btw skill > time at least in pvp point of view.

"I want to heroway players with inferior gear and builds"

Oh, there's something very close to that already. It's called random arena.

The only problem with this suggestion is that it would be either "farmed" for rewards, or be at exactly the same level as regular GvG.
