Introduction:
-Hi, I thought of a CCC cause of Darkhell's Commotion about a Bad Guy CC, So I thought of a CCC which revolves around Corsairs^^.
The Most Suitable Job which I can think for GW, with a "Maybe Bad Background".
And you guys can still make a Good Guy Corsair, Musketeer.
I find both of them have a large resemblance except their roles.
While Corsairs are like Thieves, While Musketeers they are like Police^^.
I'll be thinking of a CCC which is hard to think of soon, Which you guys have something in mind^^.
But I am thinking of a Samurai or Martial Artist Next Time^^.

Prize:
-Their would only be one one Winner.
  • My Congratualtions^^!
  • My Assistance(Optional, Mission/Quest/Farm/PvP)
  • Money is not Final, For I am broke(Any Donations^^?)
Judges:
-I need atleast 3 Judges who are Veteran CC Makers(Ex. System_Crush, Actionjack, Nebojat & more)^^.
PM me if you wan't to Volunteer^^.
Judges may still register for the Contest but they need to be fair with their Judging.

Attributes:

Judge's Opinion
-The CCs would be Judged through these 3 Attributes:
The Judge's Opinion would cover 1/3 of the Challenge.
  • Roleplay - 5 Points
  • Uniqness - 5 Points
  • Background - 5 Points
People's Opinion
-A Poll would be used to Vote for the People's Opinion.
The People's Opinion would cover 2/3 of the Challenge.

Challenge:
-The Challenge would be based on Corsairs or Musketeers.
You need to make a very Unique and Apealling CC to win the Challange.

Deadline/Judging Period:
  • GTM, +8:00
  • To be told..

Description:
"Loyalty can be bought," is an expression heard commonly in taverns where Corsairs get drunk after a day of pillaging. A Corsair fights for his own well being, not the well being of his party. Though, the Corsair is not stupid. There are strength in numbers, if only as a meat shield.

They make excellent mercenaries, pinning down entire armies with a wall of muskets. Battles are often bloody and quick, but often there is no fight at all. It is often preferred to the Corsair, getting bounty from their patrons and a bonus from those they capture. When they are not hired by the highest bidder, they are lying in wait in forests for another fat and rich noble to carelessly insist on being escorted through haunted forests.

Attributes:

Concentration (Primary) - Each point in concentration will decrease attack rate by 2% and increase chance of making critical hit by 3%. Any skills associated with this attribute will benefit with higher points in Concentration.

Sabotage - Any skills associated with this attribute will benefit with higher points in Sabotage.

Trick Shot - Any skills associated with this attribute will benefit with higher points in Trick Shot.

Gun Sparring - Any skills associated with this attribute will benefit with higher points in Gun Sparring.

Skills:

Focus (0 energy, 1 sec cast, 60 recharge) - Signet. For 30 seconds, you attack 20% slower and whenever you hit with an attack, you gain 4..10 energy. (Concentration)

Oil Slick (10 energy, 3 sec cast, 45 recharge) - Trap. Foes in range of oil slick 50% faster run speed. Upon leaving range of Oil Slick, foes are knocked down. You are easily interrupted when casting this spell. (Sabotage)

Saboteur's Speed (5 energy, 1/4 sec cast, 30 recharge) - Enchantment. For 10 seconds, you gain 33% faster run speed. Saboteur's Speed ends prematurely if you successfully hit a target. When Saboteur's Speed ends, you lose 10 energy. )(Sabotage)

Advantage of Surprise (10 energy, 1 sec cast, 25 recharge) - Stance. For 20 seconds, you gain 1 energy and 1 strike of adrenaline for each condition on target foe upon a successful strike. (Sabotage)

"On my mark!" (5 adrenaline, 1/2 sec cast, 45 recharge) - Shout. For 3..8 seconds, all foes within earshot have an additional 10% to deal critical hit when attacking target foe. (Sabotage)

Feign Death (10 adrenaline, 1/4 sec cast, 60 recharge) - Sacrifice 100% health. For 10 seconds, Feign Death does nothing. When Feign Death ends, you are ressurrected with the amount of health when Feign Death was cast. Penalties regarding death are negated when using Feign Death. 50% chance to fail with Sabotage 4 or less. (Sabotage)

Double Barrel Shot - (10 energy, 2 sec cast, 30 recharge) Ranged gun shot. Target foe takes twice damage and is knocked down for 1 second, and you are knocked down for 3 seconds. (Trick Shot)

Dirt Shot - (10 energy, 1/2 sec cast, 30 recharge) Ranged gun shot. Damage against target foe is negated. Target foe becomes blinded for 3..10 seconds if that foe is moving, otherwise foe is interrupted. (Trick Shot)

Spread Shot - (10 energy, 1/2 sec cast, 20 recharge) Elite ranged gun shot. Target foe and nearby foes take damage from Spread Shot. Damage is reduced by 50%..25% in this way. (Trick Shot)

Wreckless Firing (2 adrenaline, 1/4 sec cast, 0 recharge) Ranged gun shot. You have a 75...25% chance to miss with your attacks and a 75%...25% chance to hit an adjacent ally. Wreckless Firing recharges instantly. (Trick Shot)

Feigned Hit - (6 adrenaline, 1/4 sec cast, 20 recharge) Stance. For 5 seconds, the next hit taken is blocked. If a hit is blocked in this way, you gain 3..6 energy and your next attack spell recharges twice as fast. (Gun Sparring)

Burnt Gunpowder - (4 adrenaline, 1/2, 30 recharge) - Target touched foe is blinded for a number of seconds determined by the rank in Sabotage. (Gun Sparring)

Gun Butt - (4 adrenaline, 1/4 sec cast, 20 recharge) Melee gun hit. Target foe has a 50% less chance to block Gun Butt. If Gun Butt hits in this way, Gun Butt hits for +6..22 damage. (Gun Sparring)

Leg Sweep - (6 adrenaline, 1/4 sec cast, 20 recharge) Melee gun hit. If target foe has cripple, target foe is knocked down, otherwise target foe gains cripple for 4..10 seconds. (Gun Sparring)

Pummel - (8 adrenaline, 1/4 sec cast, 30 recharge) Melee gun hit. If target foe is knocked down, target foe gains Cracked Armor for 3..10 seconds. (Gun Sparring)

Blade Slash - (6 adrenaline, 1/4 sec cast, 15 recharge) Melee gun hit. If foe is not bleeding, target foe gains Bleeding for 5..15 seconds, otherwise foe gains Deep Wound for 4..10 seconds. (Gun Sparring)

-Well mine is more based on chances and their are dice skills too^^.
And I didn't understand the function of your Cygnatus.
Well mine is based on Randomize Damage and Condition Casting.
I also use my Allies to increase the effectiveness of spread these conditions cause of the Chance Effects.
Also you may call it too, Buffing^^.
They also have some skills to strip and steal enchantments, armors, hexes and etc.
They are more like Multi-Condition Dealers.

Adam and Darkhell might be both in same Level but Darkhell has some Critic Taste while Adam has some what I call Professional Taste^^.

MC, y dont you go with a different challenge? like a Larcenist? i think instead of a "bad-guy" CCC, you should go with something more traditional. I know basically larceny is left to the Mesmer, but im sure with all of the ideas you have come up with, you at least have 1 more original one Anyway, maybe a CCC that deals with songs or something, or maintained hexes, or sumthing like that.

Oh, how bout an Avatar CCC^^.
Well I have already an Upcoming CC called the Avatar and I used it as a CC Replica for Hawkeyes Golem Master^^.
BTW it's not an Elementalist and Hawkeye said it was nice^^.

Since there were only 2 so far, so I give them both a real quick view...
Both are not too bad...

For now, I will say Hawkeye is better. While MC's use of luck and gambling could add a new style of play, its a bit less original and diverted from the given theme (more of a thief with gun, instead of a Gunman). Hawkeye's are more focus with the topic, and hit the theme pretty well. I like the addition of Sabotage in there. But I think his presentation still needs to be better, and need to add a interesting line of attribute for differnt mechanics.

It's supposed to be a flexible melee/ranged fighter. The idea is that it can play both, allowing a more adaptable style of playing. While a ranger would probably run away if an enemy approached them, a Corsair would stand and fight in melee combat. Or better still, a Corsair would disable their target with their weapon and strike them down with the conditions placed by their weapon.

If you think of them as Turkish Corsairs of the Barbary Coast variety, I'd see them as Sword Warriors with a Mysticism Dervish secondary.

If they are more like Pirates of the Carribean, I'd see them as Sword Warriors with an Illusion Mesmer secondary.

Maybe they should introduce these dual-profession mobs to Nightfall. Dual-profession mobs for HM everywhere, while they are at it.

Well so a Ranger is good in Suvival when he enemy comes near them while the Musketeer could still fight even enemies are fighting them.
BTW Hawkeye, I suggest of making you're CCs more organzed^^.

Armor
Headpieces:
Corsairs have two different types of headpiece, depending on the armor set. There are:
Dashing Scar Patterns
These would be similar to Necro scar patterns, but looking less evil, and more... well, dashing! Say, a thin scar on the cheek, or across one eye. These scars could even just be part of the face design when creating the character.
Bicorne Hats
Your average pirate hat.
Armor
These would be in a piratical style, with a fair bit of Gilt. The only example that comes to mind is what the main character from Skies of Arcadia wears:

Insignae
Pirate's Insigna: +15 armor against melee attacks.

Attributes:
Adventure (Primary): For every 3 ranks of Adventure, you gain a 1% chance to block, 1 damage reduction and attack 1% Faster. Specializes in dashing maneuvers.
Pistolry: For each rank of Pistolry, your attacks with your pistols become more effective.
Fencing: For each rank of Fencing, your attacks with your rapier become more effective.
Wit: No inherent effect. Specializes in buffing skills.
Lawlessness: No inherent effect. Specializes in trickery.

Skills:

Adventure:
Spirit of Adventure [elite]
-Elite Stance, 10e|20r : The inherent effects from your Adventure rank are tripled for 10-25 seconds.
Reckless Leap [elite]
-Elite Attack, 5adr|12r : Shadow Step (leap) to target foe, dealing 20-50 damage to, and knocking down target and all foes adjacent to him.
Dashing Good Looks
-Stance, 10e|30r : For 9-16 seconds you gain 30-70 max health.

Pistolry:
Off-Screen Reload [Elite]
-Elite Skill, 10e|30r : Fire bullets at 2-5 foes in the area. If these attacks hit, they deal +5-16 damage.
Recoil
-Pistol Attack, 5e|15r : Fire a bullet at target foe. If this shot hits, it deals +14-22 damage, and causes cracked armor for 4-12s. This attack deals 17-6% of the damage it deals back to you.
Lucky Shot

-Shout, 5adr|20r : For 7-14 seconds, you gain 0-12 damage reduction.

-Skill, 15e|25r : By sheer force of will, you grow a mustache. Such is the awe it inspires, all party members in area deal an extra 5-15% damage.

Lawlessness
