Confusion on Silviari *Spoilers*

OK i beat the game, where are the sliviari? I have heared of a tree on arbor island that turns into one? Can anyone explain?

From the GW2 rumour mill we know the Sylvari are a dryad-like tree connected race.

We also know that at the end of EotN, we are supposed to witness the birth of a new race.

In the endgame cinematic, we see a brief display of the glowing tree glowing with Ventari (IIRC, the white bearded centaur from Prophecies), with the accompanying narration implying that this is the source of a new race. Combining the above, it seems strongly implicated that the tree from which the sylvari originate is the tree shown. Go talk to Ventari to read about the origin of the tree.

Somewhere in arbor bay there is Ventari and a glowing tree, I know that much.

In the end cutsceen you do not see Ventari. You do not see any Sylvari in EOTN either.

If you bought EOTN expecting to see the Sylvari you've been mislead.

Im not sure if the sources where people heard about Sylvari in EOTN were accurate or offical. Mustve been community speculation and rumours. Im sure if Anet personally and offically released a statement saying "you will see Sylvari in EOTN" we wouldve seen them.

It's the tree growing in the final cutscene.

all the endgame cinematic has of the sort IIRC, is a little stunted tree shaking and growing a tiny bit, no sign of ventari (though maybe he's the narrator).

However, because of not only this but other things as well (parts of the map that are fogged up but clearly show paths, etc), I can assume there will be more content added, similar to the SF bonus pack. Another possibility is the bonus mission pack, though that one i'm less sure about.
either way, i haven't given up all hope yet.
