Our discoveries and mysteries of EN *Spoilers*

Well once you get around to noticing that GW:EN isn't as shallow as it's armor, or even the length of it's storyline, it actauly has a lot to offer.

However, it may have even more than you think!

I created this thread because, A. The wiki isnt as interactive as the forums, B. I'd like to know what the explorers have found.


So Far I found

-This crazy guy called Shing Jea Sherman, you can have him follow you around. If you die, he stops following. He also mentions his haircut if you watch him while hes just standing there. This is either a mean joke on everyone who thought there was going to be a hairdresser, or a clue to a hidden or future addition of new styles and cuts.

All I know is he follows you around and makes comments while you fight, maybe if you get like 200 or so kills without dieing, he might have a quest or something. He can be found outside Tarnished Haven.

-All throughout the towns, the henchmen have a comical story.

It looks like Mehnlo is a ladies man and Cynn is getting jealous all the time.

Zho and Aidan are together pretty much in every town, but not at the end of the game.

Cynn and Mhenlo mention falling in love if you talk to them at the end of the game.

-If you talk to Gwen at the end of the game, she's the only one who has the cancel conversation button. Perhaps theres a hidden quest started from there or once was one but they decided to move it to the HoM.

-Gwen's Garden outside on the west side of EotN is a neat lil place, you can get Red Iris flowers here. They also appear randomly in the Charr lands.

-Seige Devourers are a very cool mount and can be taken through gates.

-I found a surmia carving in a dungeon.

-Someone took Gwen into the Underworld and triggered a conversation with Sarah.


Any other strange mysteries and discoveries you all have made?

after kill the great destroyer go to HoM with a red flower in inventory and talk with gwen, she will give you a quest.

if you take gwen to uw village mother will recognize the daughter

the quest chain that u get in asura lands that involves killing the cipher dragons. At the end of the final quest a wierd npc appears and says things in a wierd language.

the taro leaves that can be found in the southern part of alcazia tangle.

Saidra's ashes that are found in the northeast of sparkfly swamp.(they heal the party when dropped, this may be their only use)

btw, the surmia carving has to do with the quest in the cathedral

If you go back to where you originally find Egil Fireteller in Jaga Moraine - there's a bunch of "Jars of Salve" - if you pick one up and carry it - when you drop it, it will heal the party for 300 HP.

The White Mantle are alive and well and looking to cause more troule yet again. If you unlocked Hayda then you know some of the story, also there is a white mantle guy right outside of the Tarnished Haven who gives you quests to do.

I don't think this has anything to do with storyline but when you drop the final matrix flux on the Indestructible Golem at Oola's Lab, it does 1337 damage :P

At the end of the game, there is an ooze NPC, (Forgot the name) at the far end of the place, opposite where you spawn, after beating the Great Destroyer. Anyone know what the heck thats for?
