Would it be possible for ANet to make it so hunts automatically improve in rank once you reach the requisit number of kills? I think it'd help if I didn't have to run back to a different shrine every time I want to level up my hunt.
EDIT: It'd also be nice if you could increase your hunt rank a little more reliably instead of needing some different random number each time.

The way its set up its like the norse, its a boasting contest. Its meant to add some roll play to the RPG. If you talk to the norn sometimes they tell you "come back with more kills" or "not bad heres 20 pts" go talk to them all again after clearing the area. Its pretty much the same kinda thing with the others. Yes there is a grind but a little grind isnt that bad.

um yea it already does this just not always its one of the random benefits, and the npcs dont always give you an increased hunt soooooo its all left to luck, which is kinda how i like it, all the npcs are is if you talk to then they give you one random bonus like getting 25 kills does, soooo its fine.

Improving in hunting level isn't a random bonus.

I know it's a random bonus, but IMO that's the problem, it's random and not consistant. So after getting 50 kills you have to run back and see if you are lucky. If not you have to kill 25 more and see if you can get the hunt increase. If not, repeat. Once you get it once, you've got to go through the trouble of all that again for it to increase again.
That's the annoying part to me. It's not the grind, it's the fact you never know when your bonus is going to be able to increase.

imo the only thing that should be improved by hunt ranks is the factm that the kill count shouldn#t be resetted, when u leave the active map ..
kill count should only reset, when you leave the area of a race or when you go into a town/outpost ...
but as long you stay out of town/ in a dungeon, every kill should count and not get resetted, when u change the area map, what u do for example often in dungeons when you go to the next stage ... your kill count gets resetted -___- Must not be !!! very silly of A Net ... sad T.T

It isn't random? I've always gotten it at around 75 kills almost always. Probably just luck, then; just ignore my previous comment then, please.
