Armor colour in HoM?

I remember reading somewhere that the Armor monument in HoM appeared exactly as your own armor, colour included. I just went and added my own armor and it showed up red (ugh), rather than green. Is this happening to others, or is it just me?

Aparently, if your armor, or even a piece of it, was dyed before the dye update, then it defaults back to the armors undyed color.
Which gives me an awesome purple ele..

HAHAHA, yeah and me a wonderfull green mesmer ... I would never change it though because i love my old school black armor and would for no means use the new black ... guess we just have to hide the HoM from our friends

well that sucks. If I re-dye all my green armor green again, will the monument get corrected, or is it now permanently stuck in red?

i had a different experience.
My primeval armour appeared all black when i displayed it even though the boots and gloves were yellow.
after i added my Bonelace armour, which is dyed silver since forever, both sets reverted to red.

thats sux coz my obsidian ele armor (from back when monks and necros use to get theirs without the shards), was dyed silver, then died a "unique" 4 dye mix before they changed the dye changes, of which that mix can no longer be made.

so i will never get the color i have now on my monument
