Sylvari? (Possible Spoilers)

I normally don't go for spoilers, but the silence concerning the Sylvari got me wondering anxiously. I recall reading several times that we would witness the birth of their race. Although I admit I wasn't sure if they said we'd see it as part of the storyline or if the events in GW:EN would be a major part of their origins in GW2.

So... is there any mention or sight of the Sylvari by the time all is said and done?

At the end cinematic the tree in Arbor Bay (where Ventarri the centaur is now) starts to move as the narator says that new species began to emerge. That is about all I caught of them. And no, if you visit that tree after, nothing happens.

"witness the birth of a new race" is as much a lie as "40 new armors"

Can a mod make a sticky "There are no Sylvari in EOTN" please. This is like the 10th thread about "where's the sylvari".
