Hey I was wondering if any of you guys have tamed a bear in presear ascalon. I just started a new ranger and he is already lv 6. I have a lv 6 melandru stalker but I have been wanting to tame a bear. I saw some bears in Wizards Folly and was wondering if i could tame them. So can you guys explain if it is possible to tame bears in presear. Thx In advance to anyone who can help.

Well, you can only tame animals whos names come up in green, so the Wiard's Folly ones are untamable. I'm not sure if there are any tamable bears, but there haven't been where ever I've been. ^_^

Anet made Bears uncharmable in Pre.It once could be done with 2 people but now if you so much as try the bear interupts you.The only animal with a red name you can charm in pre is a Wolf which roams outside Ashford Abbey.

oh ok thx free runner. You sure that you can't ave someone aggro and distract while ur charming?

And I think it instantly recharges too, so even if you manage to interupt it, he could cast it after the 2 seconds knockdown anyway.

The old method was.
1) Have someone aggro the bear and run away.
2) Just as the bear runs to the edge of your aggro line cast charm animal.

The bear should continue to run and later try and stop it but fail due to how far it is. But since the update it seems to run back to you everytime or interupt the charm no matter how far it is.
