GW guru related (Mods)

Why are GW Guru mods so pro-ANET? I don't want to start a flame thread or anything, but I want to know why? It seems that EVERY THREAD, that moves a bit towards the: "Anet screwed up"-side gets locked forever...

Is it because they want to remain #1 on GW fansite ladder? Because IF that is so, what's the point of being a FAN-site in the first place? If you are going to close any somewhat discussable aspects of the game?

I have had alot of threads locked, simply because they arn't as "GoGo Anet, you guys ruuuulz" as other threads... I know this isn't a democracy (far from even), but if so, can U guys atleast have like a note in the beginning, for everyone to read: "I will NOT post anything Anti-Anet, by joining this site, I agree with the fact that they are awesome, they are the best, they OWN blizzard in every way", so people know that if they want to rant something, they shouldn't do it on this site, even tough it's #1...

I just want an anwser, and I know this thread won't last long, because there always is a mod thinking: "OMG, anet will reward me for this, loooooooock", but please, why can't there be a single post saying: "Anet, you guys scr3w3d up (again)". (Waiting for the: it's not a constructive post reply, as if 99% of the other posts are: HOW DO I FARM, Let's talk about lore, as if GW is real, etc...)

Nothing is wrong with complaining about ANet. It's when the bashing ANet gets out of hand we start closing the threads. There are many threads currently open about complaining about ANet, and they will remain open until the bashing/flaming gets out of hand. Go look at the GWEN forum, alot of complaining about ANet threads there. Go look at Riverside, alot of complaining about ANet threads there.

We do support ANet, but that doesn't mean we're going to stick up for them 100% of the time. I've seen moderators, including myself, join in on these threads complaining about something ANet has done. Again, we will not close the thread as long as theres no flaming and it's constructive. If you simply make a thread saying "Omg ANet suxxxx lololol" the thread will obviously be closed. But if you say they've done something wrong in a constructive manner, the thread will not be closed.

If you had a thread about ANet and it was closed, try PMing the moderator who closed it. If you don't know who it is, try PMing a super mod/admin. It could of been closed because it wasn't constructive, it could of been closed because there were already other threads on the subject.

Have you, by any chance, ever heard of a site called GWO?

a) get your facts right.

b) you are supposed to pm moderators about this instead of making even more idiotic QQing bsing threads like this.

c) the reason for closing was (IF YOU WOULD LOOK AT THE WHOLE SECTION YOU POSTED IN) that there are about 68451887 topics about the VERY SAME THING!!!!

d) no single mod on this board is in ANY WAY biased towards ArenaNet.

e) at least back your bs up next time if it happens to be right; because right now there are absolutely NO topics that were closed or removed because of EXACTLY that reason.

f) the only time threads would be closed when it comes to ArenaNet would be due to excessive flaming that cannot be taken under control after some tries.

Sure you do. Otherwise why start a perfectly pointless topic. If you don't like the forum, leave. There are other GW fan forums out there.

And in case you haven't noticed, there are quite a lot of negative threads in Riverside that remain open.

Are you and I even looking at the same forum? Either way, this thread is fail. If you still have concerns/comments/whatever, pm Inde or Chief about it, and use some specific examples. Closed.
