I get as far as to kill the guardians without problem, but how do you open the gates?

Okay, now I've spent 2 hours down there trying and one hour here looking.. How do you get to the actual furnace? :s

you need to put gear in gear thing beside door you want to open. later on if you have fa you get a dwarf that gives you bombs to blow them up. maybe if you take oro you will find the bosses that drop weapons easier.

Not sure if you mean the regular ol' gates (use the gears).
Or the furnace gates. The furnace gates you need to complete the quest "To Sorrow's Furnance" and then to "Final Assault."

i tried squishing the dwarf you have to carry but it doesnt work... lol

Have you completed all of the Sorrows Furnace quests? The last one takes you into the furnace area itself...

In order to access the Furnace you need to have the quest The Final Assault on at least one of the players in the team.
In order to get The Final Assault quest you need to have completed the quests To Sorrow's Furnace.
In order to get The Final Assault quest you need to have completed the quests To Sorrow's Furnace.
