Can't move hero's items into storage

Searched heroes weapons inventory, got 2 posts from May, so they weren't helpful. I'm wondering if I have a bug, because although I moved Ogden's staff(original one) into storage, I can't do the same with any other hero's items. I have the space, even tried to "switch" them by placing hero item in occupied slot in storage, but it didnt work. Other items I have no problem with, and I can still move Ogden's staff around, but that's it. Anyone else have this happen?

Have you tried to put the item in your bag first and then put it in storage. That's about the only thing I can think of that might work. I haven't run into a problem like that, that I can think of.

Nope, theyre already in my bags, and I can move them from bag to bag, no problem, I just cant get them out. I dont really want to trash them, but its looking like I might have to.

I had the same thing,with all my heroes...not sure its a bug. I bought a better weapons and switched it, that worked.

iive had similar problems with the gwen pre release bonus wepons, i cannot move them into storage

this is the customized weapons bug I think... Some customized weapons will not go into storage unless you use a equip from storage trick to swap it in there...

The other speculation is it maybe a bonus item? Like ithicas bow for instance. which spawns on all your accounts with /bonus command. BUT the problem is newly spawned bonus items are not upgradeable, where as my original ones upgrade just fine... Go figure... So I do not want to re-spawn them obviously...

In any case storage seems to sometimes refuse to take an item from inventory, and it seems to me to be related to customization.

The way around that is to double click to equip something from the storage box and the item that previously was not able to be put into storage appears there and can not be moved, only removed...

This is how to get multi bonus items to spawn for equipping heroes BTW. If you so desire... there are other ways to do this as well, but this is the most basic method. I am thinking that was the reason Anet put a limitation on it originally for putting them in storage, but if thats the case its still easily done just by doing what I said above, or simply equipping the item on the hero, Then removing them from the party and spawning them again. Add back more heroes, equip again, remove from party, and spawn again till entire hero set is equipped. Its a pretty basic function...

I guess I could try equipping them on heroes, then equipping something from inventory, but I think I already tried that. Ill try it now, because I dont recall if I did that already, will let you know if it works.
Edit: FINALLY! Thats done it. Got it by equipping the heroes original equipment, then equipping new items from inventory.
