What is Chest Runs?

Seen this alot on the Forums but not to sure what or how this is done any help on this would be great thanks in advance

a chest run group is usually a full group of characters with builds, armors, and weapons specifically for running through an explorable area, mission, dungeon, etc. to open chests.

ie. fow chest run groups run around fow opening obsidian chests, usually warriors, dervs, monks, sins, rangers with movement increasing skills as well as blocking, hp increasing, and healing skills.

So this is were all the Gold/Plat wepons and stuff come from right?

Not only from chest running, they also drop from enemies. But you do get a better chance of them dropping from chests
