Polymock

Hello

I have been playing Polymock lately and have been enjoying it. I have ran into a problem however.

I got to Rata Sum and got my starter Polymock pieces, I beat Plurgg, Blarp, Fonk, Grulhammer Silverfist and Necromancer Volumandus

For each Polymock player, you usually get a quest saying Defeat: This Guy, but the polymock dude doesnt have any further quests availible.

According to Wiki, I should play against Dune Teardrinker next. I got to Longeye Ledge last night and seeing as Doomlore Shrine is right next to it, I just ran to Doomlore to fight Dune Teardrinker.

When I got there to play him, all he says is that I'm not experienced enough... even if I did follow the player list on wiki.

Any help?

All you polymock pieces are belong to me!

I suggest giving up polymock and playing with your guildies Z.

J/K, saw your post and just had to reply. I haven't beat that stupid Kappa yet.

Apparently you need to actually do the missions to get there and not just run there.

Hmmmm, maybe that could be. You CAN actually run there from the Longeye Ledge though. I just dont see why the Polymock Asura WOUDNT have given me to go to this place and defeat this player even though I didnt have the location yet though.

He did give me the quest to go to Gadd's Encampment when I didnt have the location yet.

Just kind of stumped. I can try to do the mission from Longeye when I get back from work.

Any other suggestions perhaps?

I believe that would be "the pot calling the kettle black".

Having to do missions or open up towns may be the solution. It wouldn't be the first time Anet did something like that.

you cant start playing Polymock without first reaching Rata Sum and getting your starter Polymock pieces and the quest to defeat other players to gain more pieces.

It's a bug -- not a problem because you ran there, not even God's punishment for posting when you should be working There was another post yesterday entitled Dune Teardrinker that has some information in it, and you can check the "report a bug" section here on the forums.

I know it's frustrating, hope it's fixed as quickly for you as it was for me.
