Hey hey all you Guru heads!
Well I'm starting to get bored with the PvE side of GW and EoTN. So I've been hitting up some HA, I'm still a HA noob with 9 Hero Points! w00t!
Just curious how all of you PvP'ers rake in Balth Faction to unlock skills.
-AB's just take to damn long... and can only earn decent faction on certain maps.
-Zaishen Challenge and Zaishen Elite there is a cap. (but I have heard you can bring a group of trappers and pwn the Zaishen's)
-FFF seems like it would take just as long as AB's
So how do you rake in all the Balth faction??

GvG is the fastest way to earn faction, providing you win.
HA can also be a good way for faction as well as fame, but again its providing you win.
TA/RA can be good too, but will be a little slower than GvG/HA, but like always, you have to win to benefit from it.
AB = horrible for balth faction
Trappers will own the hell out of the Zaishen, but youre only allowed 1k faction a day i believe.
Probably the "Fastest" way if you have the cash and dont have a guild dedicated to PvP that participates in PvP actively, would be to buy Golden Flames of Balthazar. They are usually selling for like 5k a piece and give you 3k faction.

But also sounds like if you don't cap out at 2k in Challege.... and you go to Elite then you can earn a total of 6k.
Again this isnt FACT its just how I'm taking it from Wiki

Trapping is a good thing to do in the zaishen, but that requires either other players, which means you need to find people who know what they are doing.
So what I do is:
- SF ele hero w mark of rodgort and meteor shower.
- Monk hero, many PvE builds will work.
- Ranger with frozen soil, maybe EoE and 6 optional slots.
- Black spot, usually I get someone here to just leach faction off of me. But a second SF ele hero also works. Strangely things seem to go better with an AFK human than an empty spot.
Going against the illusionary weaponry team I rarely see a match last over 1 minute from the gate opening. The only micromanagement you might need to do is making sure the ranger doesn't place FS down too early, and targeting a straggler if some survive the initial AOE so that your heroes attack it.
I'd suggest you play the ranger and make sure the spirits stay up in the starting area. Let the heroes do as they please until the enemies scatter from the AOE then you attack the closest one.
