Spectacles Need a Small Change

Make them dyeable.
If nothing else, at least the tinted version so people can have different colored lenses.

I love that idea.

That'd be pretty cool.
Heh, imagine if it tinted everything on your display because of the dye you used.
That'd be insane!

How nice it would be to see the world with rose tinted glasses.

Lol. You can barely even see them. It's a series of lines connected together.
The tinted ones would be interesting to color... Maybe.
/Signed for both anyways.

You really would see nothing on the normal specs, but if the tinted ones has colorable glass, that would be pretty neat. It would give a real hippy feel.

Yeah...
It would be even better if they made them change the screen color while in 1st person, XD. But just dye would do.
Just look at Female Ranger Shing Jea armor. It has 'translucent' colored areas. This would be the same.

It would be also cool being able to dye the frame, in the other two.

Oh, they need a change alright.
They need to be removed from the game.
Nothing like people running around in modern designer eyewear in a fantasy game. Can't wait till we have robots too (oh wait, we already do).
Bah, I wish people could just leave fantasy alone and stop trying to mingle it with sci-fu and the modern world all of the time.
I hate these new glasses more than any of the other stupid things they have added to this game (like the plethora of inane pop-culture references), and that is something to be said. Each new addition of stupidity ruins this game more and more. As it stands, there is no way in hell I am buying GW2. I still haven't bought Eye of the North as I absolutely hate the Asurans. They ruined Guild Wars the same way Gnomes ruined fantasy across the board (with their inventions, robots, and other things that should not be).
The last thing I need is for some U2 Bono look-a-like running around in town, ruining my game experience at the mere sight of him. What they should add is an option to make all characters in town invisible except those I want to see (like people on my friends list) so I am not forced to see this rampant stupidity. "Out of sight, out of mind" works perfectly in this situation to the benefit of everyone.
I really, really hate these shitty things, can't you tell?

Meh, /signed for the tinted spectacles. If we don't get it though, someone could just download TexMod, make custom tinted colors, then upload them somewhere for people to easily download.

haha, I have to agree with post #12... those glasses does not belong to gw.. and I too hate azurans, c'mon removing dwarves and adding those (azurans) pesky things...

but we have been told that there is some ingame mechanic preventing the dying of glasses.
on the other hand Gaile says a lot of things.

A ranger with glasses is funny as hell.

They could fix the clipping on spectacles first. They dont work with all hair styles. Then they could get around to allowing the tinted ones to be dyed (technical reason they cant be dyed? uh huh...).
I've also decided I dont like them all that much having gotten a pair to see how they looked (and finding the clipping problems), but I am not above the idea of being able to dye them for those that do like them. We can dye the other head pieces.
