I have gotten to the descruction of the land and done about two missions. Now, with all my team and a pet I am getting forces I just can't overcome. Is it possible to do Guild Wars solo after your 10th level or so?

If not what is the best way of finding others to join you so you can complete the missions?

Yes, it is possible to manage the missions with just yourself and henchmen. It can be a lot easier if you team with other human players for some missions though.

Getting into a guild is probably the best way to find other players to team up with. In a guild, you're part of an extended group that can give you some help in tough parts of the game. Of if you have other guildless friends in-game, you might consider setting up your own guild (which is fun but can be very expensive if you want a fully kitted out guild hall).

If you are struggling to get past a certain area at level 10, you're probably doing something wrong (don't worry, we've all made mistakes when we first started playing).

First, are you taking the maximum number of NPC henchmen with you? When I first started, I didn't realize there were 4 slots, and I kept wondering why I died so much with only myself and 1 other henchman (duh, oh well).

Second, are you upgrading your armor? Better armor makes a WORLD of a difference. So does better weapons.

Third, are you testing out different skills? I don't know what class you are playing, but you'll find that certain skills are WAY better than others. The only way to figure out which skills are good are to try them all out and test different sets of skill combinations. You'll be surprised how good you'll get when you find the right set.

Last, which henchman are you taking with? If you aren't playing a monk, make sure you ALWAYS take a healer with you, as you will never survive without the proper heals.

If you're still struggling, please be more specific about what is going wrong...i.e. what class are you playing, where are you, which henchman are you taking...etc.

^^ Good advice from Goldleader. (lol, I did the same myself-and-1-hench thing with my rit, this after having completed Proph with 7 chars - d'oh!)

And, yes, in Proph it is possible to do every mission/bonus with just yourself and the hench, with any Proph profession. A couple bonuses can be very, very difficult - there's only two I wasn't able to complete with hench.

When you get to a new town/mission outpost, look at the hench to see what level they are - that's a good indication of the minimum level you should be for that area.

No matter what profession you are, always have a bow in one of your weapon slots, preferrably a longbow. Use it to pull mobs to your position, which can give you a bit of tactical advantage.

If you're a W, using a bow (or wand even) is also useful in that the W hench will rush up to take the agro while the casters stay by you; if, as a W, you rush in with a sword, all the hench tend to follow you into the melee.

First chars are always the hardest, don't get discouraged.

Good advice above but also make sure your spending your Attribute points correctly and not wasting any on unused
skills.
I did the first time I played I just couldn't get the hang of what went where
and also what was the best skills / builds to take.
Wiki is great resource for that information.
As you are lvl 10 and prolly have upgraded Armour but not maxed yet I personally wouldn't waste money on runes and insignias just yet.
In any town or outpost just ask for help don't be shy but also beware of scams that could happen
like someone offering to help on a mission and asking for money before they start.
Not saying that happens all the time but it does happen sadly.
Main this is Have fun learning.
