WHat are the rare pre gwen items in GWEN?

The ones that were either hero's ascent or super rare drops that are more common in GWEN? I've heard people complaining about them.

Well even if those do drop, does it really matter? The old school ones are and always will be worth more gold.

I had a Platinum req 9 Divine wand, inscribable, drop in Frostmaw's Burrows.
There certainly do seem to be a lot of inscribable Platinum weapons around now.

Yup, I did Frostmaw Burrows with 7 allies. Almost every chest dropped one plat weapon.

My wife found a nice inscribable Platinum Longbow somewhere in GW:EN - can't remember, but it was during the preview weekend, so somewhere in Norn territory.

Frostmaw's Burrows and Raven's point seem to drop these quite often. I have two staves already and I usually have terrible luck with rares.

i have had two platinum longbows out in luxon lands, but got one from a chest in frostmaw recently, Pyre now uses it, and unfortunatly i cant put it into my valour shrine

Runic Blades is the answer.
These use to fetch 100k+250e+ for a req9, now a req9 can be bought for 100+10e and dropping by the day.
Also, Stygian reavers will take a hit due to there being a green version now (which is easy to farm with the right build). Crystallines apprentley drop in PvE now (besides the Kilroy chest) only purples though, no reports of a gold dropping yet.

What you are refering to is glacial blade, and it's preorder weapon, and as such doesn't drop.

i think the ember weapons will be rare.
The embersteel and embercrest are the only ones i have heard of but i would assume there is atleast a shield, bow, and daggers to go with them

Oh well. I have had several platnium staffs drop during the preview...but then they went and nerfed the drops...my ele sure loves the req 10 plat staf

Guildmate was on his way getting faction points from Rata Sum when he came across some spiders. One of the Venomweavers dropped a Req 11 Elemental Sword. I told him to sell it quick

like malice stated earlier, runic blades took the brunt of the price dive. inscribable runics seem to be in abundance thanks to gwen.
other hoh only drops that have significantly decreased in price are stygian reavers due to gwen having 2 new greens with the same skin and crystalline swords. apparently purple max damage inscribable crystallines drop in gwen.
at least pvpers still have a chance of becoming instant millionaires if a mini ghostly hero drops.
i believe theres one in high-end thats been bid up to ~700ectos atm. if thats not winning the gw lottery, i dont know what is.

I picked up a req9 inscribable platinum longbow... somewhere. Probably Frostmaw's. I'd sell it but it'll probably be too much effort.
