How to farm since Nerf?

I'm not new to farming, quite the contrary however and used to be very quite good at it. However since the nerd i have not touched farming once, fearing i guess what i might find.

Now i am in need of some money however i have NO idea of the most effective farming methods anymore, and was wondering if anyone could shed any insight.

Hard mode with a group, Solo mobs in normal mode? I have no idea, and what areas to do it in.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Most people farm in hard mode these days, some in an elite end game area, some in normal area, solo farm is still alive and well. Some said the drops are worst than even, other said better than ever, I say it 50/50.

Onyx is looking good right now - the new ecto. You can either sell the Onyx or just use the weaponsmith to craft the swords using Onyx, diamonds and some other basic materials. Selling the swords or the Onyx is temporarily, at least, lucrative. My guess is that the high profits won't last but they're sure possible at the moment.

Good way to farm is to kill stuff and pick up the loot. lol

On a real note I solo farm and make pretty good money. godd drops are rare but I can make a decent living on merching drops. I almost always farm in HM, cause it is alot easier for solo farming, faster attack speed means more dmg on most solo builds. I am doing the solo ele sword farm right now and making decent money.
