Better for what? There isn't an all-around "better" choice.

Hi,

I have only a Warrior/Monk, played him for 4 months +, very strong character!

Alot of people have some kind of issue with people playing W/Mo's? Just ignore them

The Monk secondary is *very* useful, if u take a nice rank in Healing Prayers you will be able to cure yourself (and others is needed).

Last man standing!

Some choices are just better at different things. It all depends on what you want to do and your playing style. There's no right or wrong choice, everything is workable.

Its not the wammo, its the skill of the players behind the wammo. If you really want to kick those damn monks' ass in random arena, go w/me and blackout their face. If you have a hammer and your adrenaline ready, any combo will screw that monk if he doesn't run away fast enough. Just put sprint on then blackout, so you get a larger window to smash his face in.

PvP:
W/Mo - KD/HS build or protecting monks with life bond or hly wrath. also able to use strength of honor.

W/R - can you say IWAY??? you can also apply poison and are able to increase attack speed with tiger's fury.

W/E - either KD/AS/gale or conjure for extra damage.

W/Me - anti-caster with blackout, since you are still useful with no skills...

W/N - rely either on blood for high regen or hexes to add damage (rigor mortis, weaken armor, barbs, mark of pain...)

For PvE i was a W/Mo but I find a W/N to be more effective. I take mark of pain and go to town. And if the arrgo is huge I throw in spiteful spirit for good mob control. PvP definatly a W/R or a W/Mes for anti caster stuff, but I prefer W/R that hits for 60's and 80's on monks and then hits Tigers Fury to build up adrenaline for a evis+ex. strike take some disruption too because those res sigs can be a real pain.

There really is no better one to make, they all have something good and bad about them. I'm a W/MO only because I like to deal a lot of damage while staying alive. The W/R would be good for a pet, or if your looking just to use EoE ect...

most people think W/R means IWAY. obviously thats not the case. in PvP (CA only, i play W/E in gvg), i like my w/r build simply for the fast dmg. the pet gives a +20 dmg per hit, and tigers fury makes it so that you can take out a monk b4 the thought of using guardian even registers.

i still like w/mo though. not for the mending/tanking crap, since warriors dont tank in pvp. only monk skills i usually use are holy veil and mend ailment since most people will blind/ss you and just 4get about you

for pve, W/Mo>>>>>>>>W/anything. should be obvious why

Recently deleted one of my ascended rangers, and made my first warrior, because that was the only class I had not played, and wanted to get a feel for it. Chose ranger secondary for the sole reason of being able to take a warthog for a pet. After running with Oink in a Kryta bonus mission and seeing the little **** fight, I had to have one to go along with the farm boy (as in FARM, like soybeans, not farming) that I made. Besides being a hoot to watch, the warthog is little and low to the ground. It seldom gets in the way and doesn't get hit as often as a larger pet.
