Can my video card run Guild Wars?

I have an NVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go 32M and Guild Wars requires NVIDIA GeForce 3. I would have thought a GeForce4 is better than a 3, but canyourunit.com says I need a better video card. Do I?

you might be able to run... but it will be very choppy. it probably won't be playable.

I would give you a chance at running medium/low quality, at a decent resolution with no filtering. Its better than nothing.

The GeForce 4 Go cards are basically GeForce 4 MX's, which are among the worst cards the game will sort of run on without hacks. Some effects won't work at all since unlike the rest of the GF 4 series the GF 4 MX is actually a rebranded GeForce 2 design, and thus doesn't have any hardware support for pixel and vertex shaders.

Also, the card's SLOW. It should run but don't expect much.

Try adding into the proprty of the GW. Right click your Icon ---> Proprties----> Genreal Tab ---> then add in -directx8 onto it should help run GW a lil better with a low vid card.
