The Lonely Raven (pet or not)?

I was vanquishing through Sacnoth Valley and i was at the most southern tip near the valley-like area (with the bee-swarms and worms) and i stumbled across a black raven! I'd never seen one before ('Lonely' Raven), so i think it's probably very rare, i did not try to attack it though. It was big enough to be a pet, here's a screenshot i took:

So my question is: Is this Raven Charmeable? if yes it would be the ultimate pet.

My Margrid has this fine looking bird as her pet, although she tends to enjoy dreaming of it on a spit since its still currently at a low level and dies regularly . . . ..

I had actually taken her out to see if the swarms of bees could have been a pet, they weren't, but they would have definitely been cool.

Yep, raven is a pet. And according to wiki, the only place you can get one is in Sacnoth Valley. I wish they were in more places because they are cool. hehe

It's not quite one of a kind, there are a few of them out there. They're only in Sacnoth Valley, of course :P I picked one up last night, working on leveling it now

i got one named it nevermore(reference to e.a. poe) it seems there is only 1 per each time you zone. haven't put it on hom yet. anyone know what statue it gets, would be kinda lame if it didn't get its own, specially since its in only 1 zone.
