Kormir and Grenth are proof that this is somewhat true.
Upon taking a look at Primordus again i saw that there are strange particles falling from him just behind the Great Destroyer along with something that looked like it was moving (cant confirm what it was due to me having to Leeroy into the Great Destroyer)

Firstly.... Cantha will apparently be shut off from the world in GW2 .... and secondly, the only significant Dragon on Shing Jea was coiled around a rock out at sea near the Crimson Skull base...... BUT....
.... There is an identical one on an identical rock just off-shore from Kaineng.
Admittedly.... the Drakkar of a certain lake, the dragon in the central transfer chamber..... and that bloody HUGE spiney one going through the Charr Homelands (clearly visible even on the map) are hardly subtle.
If anyone can find a dragon in the Ring of Fire islands, I'd like to hear about it.
I DO recall there being one sealed in the Jade Sea though.... for what it is worth.

I doubt there are any Dragons resting in Cantha. The Dragons seem to be the story for Tyria whereas Cantha will have a seperate story.

Perhaps the Dragon in the Jade Sea is the mother of all Leviathans?
Does make me wonder how the Destroyers managed to threaten her hatchling(s), though...
I gotta say that all of this info is making me crazy waiting for GW2. Its really interesting to hear all of this info about stuff and speculation. I think we can assume that there will be a larger map in GW2 that may bring Elona and Tyria together. not sure about cantha though. Could be an epic game. All the lore will make for an amazing story line that may be too amazing to really act out in any game. Im thining there will be one dragon or so per chapter.

Also... Glint does not seem like it's brothers would be very formidable foes if indeed glint was part of the family of sleeping dragons.
Yeah, formidable as the Leviathan of the deep is, I doubt its power rivals that of the ancient dragons. It may simply have grown to its present size because of the darkness of Kanaxai. Or maybe that is the size ALL leviathans are. If the latter is true, then how did it resist the taint of Kanaxai?
