hello, i was just wondering what would be better for a beast masters build

I know the black bear has a slowerattack rate But its mauling skill can trigger the effects of paragon shouts like anthem of flame or crippling anthem
soo
i would like to get more opinions on this before i make my choice

Black bear is weak. Most paragon shouts are party, not ally. There isn't really any reason to take a black bear, unless you don't mind reducing your effectiveness for the look.

I'm pretty sure the mauling skill the black bear uses is a monster skill and is only used when it's untamed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

it is a fact that black bears do use brutal mauling when captured by rangers and used as pets also
