please anet...
dyeing the asuran male rit armor will only affect some details, the main part stays ORANGE...
but i hate orange, and maybe some ppl do this as well, especially ppl who use to MIX armors...
so swap the orange part with the detail thing, so that the orange part becomse dyeable! PLEASE!

pls vote all for that!!! pls! its strange to force us to wear orange armors >_<

i hope u understand what i mean!

Ick, it looks really bad when you dye the other parts green.

It probably doesn't look so bad if you use a different dye.

Oh and fat chance Anet will change it. They've been lazy enough with the armor as is.

Really? XD Hehehe i kinda like it!
Anyway it looks alot like the Armour most of the Asura wear (:O shock) since they have bright stripes and stuff, as Onarik said it would probably look better with some other Dye's and i doubt ANet will change it, sorry =/ lol

It's true that it is strange having the parts of the armour undyeable but having them some terribly ugly colour. I think more of the armour should be dyeable, and you should have two dye area options, making armour far more unique.

I have a huge problem in that respect with the Ancien Monk armour too. That is kind of orangey, and the only colour it actually looks good with is it's original, undyed grey.

I like that the armour reskins got more interesting, but at least make the parts that are undyeable a generic colour so they look good when you actually do dye them.

Personnally I like it when some parts are undyable so you can have more then 1 color on your armor. But I can see why you would not like this

Lol. I had some mucus that came outta my nose last night that was that color.

Ya know... Green and orange... Kinda the Rocky yet silvery texture...

I think ANet was trying to go for bright, exotic colors when they made the Asura armor. But this doesn't really do that.

I like orange >_>. .. most my characters use some combination of red, yellow or orange dye in their armor.

still, I'd hate to buy an armor and find out it was undyably pink.

so, yea, /sign

And they should fix the Elementalist Ancient armour while they're at it. Anything aside from Purple + Red (giving Purple) results in a greyish, faded splurge.

That said... you tried the Exotic Rit armour lately?
Another case of rampant orange.

I'm getting damn sick of this nonanswer. If the armor sucks, we should be allowed to request a change. In my opinion, the vast majority of GW:EN armor was a serious letdown, and while I plan to follow your brilliant advice, I'm still annoyed.

Undyable areas don't bother me too much -- even though I wish I could change some of them -- but if you're going to make something undyable at all, go with a muted color like grey or brown. Don't make it an eye-raping, unpopular color that clashes with the cool colors most players prefer.

My rit wears a warmer salmony shade, but she's dark-skinned and it looks pretty good on her. I don't see others wearing her dye combo, either. ^_^ But c'mon, orange on pale characters? Not so much.

one more thing you can do with an armor you dont like - dye it so it suites your taste. :P

It doesnt make sense that you can dye only the secondary armor details and not primary, it should be vice versa.

While they are at it, they can get rid of that silly blue that is on the Monument Dervish armor. I've been wanting that armor for quite some time now, but once I seen how it dyes, I kind of lost interest. Blues not really my color.

Elite Kurzick Assassin armor is lined in red and orange, and that's the way it is. About this sort of thing, all we can say is oh well.
