I know this issue has been brought up several times before. It would be wonderful if we could look at armor on our characters to see if it looks right prior to purchase. And I understand if the feature doesn't exist in the game itself. However, I think that this issue could be solved through some generic Flash application on GuildWars.com.
The application would allow you to pick a profession and would then provide the users with a generic Warrior, Ranger, or whatever profession model. Then users could select an armor type for each section of the body. This application would give users the ability to see if different armor types work together well. And if somebody already proposed this idea, I apologize for bringing it up again.
Thoughts?

Much less work for Anet, so that's all you'll ever get, especially when you're just planning to put the armor on a generic model anyway. >.>

I've actually used this link a lot. However, it is difficult to see if a chest piece and a leggings from different sets would work together without seeing them directly next to each other.
