I've noticed a few things about GWEN, and they aren't particularly good. First off, everyone has noticed that heroes got much better armor than players. And the new armor for playres? It's all reskinned, plus you have to be a certain rank to even have the crafter talk to you. And about heroes, in order to add them to the Hall of Monuments, they have to have that upgraded armor. That's one thing, but when their statues are displayed, they show up in their starter armor. I think the least that could be done is show them in the upgraded armor since it's required to even display them.

Another thing - GWEN is made exclusively for level 20 only characters. So how come when you go in there, you get starter drops, plus the pets you can charm? They're not level 20. They're low levels just like before. And let's not forget the fact that only certain ones show up in the Hall of Monuments like the hero statues.

The weapons monument will only let Destroyer weapons to be added in the Hall of Monuments. I have a huge green collection and was hoping to put those in there. Plus, when you add a weapon to that monument, it customizes to that character without the added 20% damage like usual. And Destroyer weapons cost 5k alone to make, plus lots of rare materials like diamonds and onyx gemstones.

It's my opinion that these things should be changed. What does everyone else think?

Yeah, instead of posting a new topic, you should just post this in one of the MANY other threads (because MANY people agree with you, and there are many problems in general with GWEN).

Yes, Guild Wars Eye of the North is a great game overall.

About your criticism, I completely agree on the weapons monument change. I would like to add some greens and at least my Tormented Energy Storage staff which I bought for a lot of gems. Also the endgame greens of GW:EN should be addable imo.

Even in other level 20 areas the pets aren't level 20. By this logic, everything past the desert in Prophecies, Shing Jea Island in Factions and Istan in Elona should have level 20 charmable pets. There are some rare cases in each game where you can get an evolved pet (such as the aggressive lions in Kourna, or the Black Moa), and there are some in EotN as well. I found a huge group of Elder Crocodiles.

Nope, here we go. From the official update notes.

Fixed a bug that prevented Destroyer Weapons customized in the Hall of Monuments from receiving their 20% damage bonuses. This fix will not affect weapons that have already been customized, although we are currently working on a fix to restore these bonuses as well. Sure, it didn't affect the ones that had already been customised, but they're working on that.

The only major issues that I have with the game are that the Charr Homelands are too small (although I doubt that's gonna be changed) and that the final cutscene is kind of weak. Both of these things aren't going to be changed, so I'll just have to live with it.
