ok I have finished vanquishing the Jade Sea and have used the exact same build for all areas...wanted to post them for those who would like them etc.
These builds really are more defensive based rather the offensive, for the simple reason of the melee in the party, while limited has enough power to dispatch any foe...while the rest of the party cast supporting spells / chants!
Firstly I am a Ranger, my bar was:
[skill]natural stride[/skill]
[skill]broad head arrow[/skill]
[skill]savage shot[/skill]
[skill]distracting shot[/skill]
[skill]throw dirt[/skill]
[skill]troll unguent[/skill]
[skill]apply poison[/skill]
[skill]rebirth[/skill] - or another "rez" up to you, I prefer the reusable "rez" incase something goes wrong!
alternatives to [skill]broad head arrow[/skill] if you don't have it [skill]concussion shot[/skill] high energy cost is harsh but works to roughly the same effect...
[skill]splinter weapon[/skill] is an alternative if you are /Ritualist, then you could replace [skill]apply poison[/skill] with it and cast on the melee members in the team for added damage if you are not satisfied with the current DPS of the build!
I always had monk,paragon,warrior heroes
and
both monk hench, interrupt ranger hench (earth ele hench when interupter was not available, believe there to be a few outposts without him), and guardian warrior hench
builds for heroes...
Monk:
[skill]light of deliverance[/skill]
[skill]healing touch[/skill]
[skill]orison of healing[/skill]
[skill]words of comfort[/skill]
[skill]signet of rejuvenation[/skill]
[skill]shield of absorption[/skill]
[skill]shielding hands[/skill]
[skill]remove hex[/skill] - the Ritualist fish (cant remember their name) bugged the living hell out of me with their [skill]binding chains[/skill] O-MY-GOD forgot hex removal in one area and wanted to murder someone...i was unable to attack during most fights as hench rarely used it if at all...make sure you have this and self-macro it if you see fit! - good idea in my opinion ^^
[skill]healing light[/skill] is an alternative for an elite if you prefer it for that bit extra energy management!
[skill]dismiss condition[/skill] very valid alternative to [skill]remove hex[/skill] but there is not a massive amount of condition spreaders in Jade Sea so not great but might be an option...
[skill]protective spirit[/skill] is another alternative skill, but has a 10energy cost which is not to pleasent...nice skill but not that many big damage hitters in the Jade Sea!
[skill]vigorous spirit[/skill] is an alternative though worth disabling and self-macroing it as heroes generally use it on the wrong target!
other skills are optional for the bar, but I prefer to stick the majority to 5energy skills, seeming as heroes have rather minimal amounts of energy management!
no need ever for a "rez" on a monk unless you are a human monk, heroes don't require one...specially if you put reusable "rez" on your other heroes!
>>>This bar really is all about defence and making sure party members do not die! somewhat important in HM xD
Paragon:
[skill]song of restoration[/skill]
[skill]zealous anthem[/skill]
[skill]ballad of restoration[/skill]
[skill]"find their weakness!"[/skill]
[skill]"never surrender!"[/skill]
[skill]"never give up!"[/skill]
[skill]"go for the eyes!"[/skill]
[skill]signet of return[/skill]
Few alternatives here obviously, a hard rez is an option although a rather stupid option!
[skill]signet of synergy[/skill] is a valid option for a replacement if you don't have one of the skills!
others are available and could be slotted in as you see fit!
Warrior:
[skill]quivering blade[/skill]
[skill]distracting blow[/skill]
[skill]sever artery[/skill]
[skill]gash[/skill]
[skill]plague touch[/skill]
[skill]"watch yourself!"[/skill]
[skill]healing signet[/skill]
[skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Alternatives are not to easy to come by for this, though available, these work great in the bar!
---Warrior is just a basic plague quiverer build
---Paragon build is one that I roughly made up as I went alone, but it works so hey!
---Monk, due credit to Racthoh whos build I adapted.
hope that helps...sensible critics of builds would be awesome...specifically the Paragon build as I haven't had anyone give me feedback on it yet so thanks in advance if you can!
the above team-build worked in all the Jade Sea areas, had one flaw was not enough damage output to take out a monk boss, but managed it easily once I got in a decent [skill]broad head arrow[/skill] shot, went down easily, other then that everything died with ease etc...
feedback would be great!
thanks!
