Regarding Windwalker's Insignia.

Hi there. I was recently reading GuildWiki about armor, and I noticed this particular statement:

Quote:
The sum of all armor buffs gained from skills and effects cannot exceed +25. However, if one or more effects add more than +25 armor by themselves (for example +40 from Physical Resistance), then the largest of these effects counts as the total buff, even if it is larger than +25.
Now, since Windwalker's Insignia is "activated" by enchantments, does this rule apply? For example, if I'm running the insignia on each piece of armor, and I have two enchantments up, does the overall gained armor stay at 25 rather than 50? And if I'm running Avatar of Balthazar, am I limited to 40 extra armor (making the insignia useless)?

If that's not the case, can I expect to have +100 base armor when running 4 enchantments, assuming I have the insignia on each piece of armor?

The +armor bonuses from armor, shields, etc, don't count towards the +25 armor cap.

You also seem to be confused about something else. The armor bonuses from the windwalker insignias are per piece. Meaning, if you are running 4 enchantments, that particular piece will gain a +20 armor bonus, which will only matter if that particular piece gets hit. They do not add up to give +100 base armor.

But still what about skills like Avatar of Balthazar...

AoB will give you it's +armor bonus, however, if a warrior were to also use Watch Yourself, you would not get the armor bonus from it

The cap only applies to things that show up on the status effect bar (where all enchantments, skills, shouts, etc. show up). Everything that doesn't show up there will still add on to your armor rating.
